ABOUT: Lighting and Decor has been a calling of Ziggy since a teenager with a fascination with theme parks. After entering into theater in high school and into college, It took on more a stronger themed approach imagining entire worlds one would enter into. Through many living environments, building beauty and decor was a strong focus, but it wasn't until 2021 moving back to LA in a controlled apartment space without shared living, Ziggy committed to the vision to make a fully saturated creative mini-venue dedicated to art creation surrounded with themed beauty. With limited resources, he slowly built up the vision over years as a prototype for potential transformation of the world around. The journey continues still.
The PHILOSOPHIES: Every blank wall, dilapidated street, and barren venue is a blank canvas for creation. Why are there so many struggling artists? it is because the stripping down of aesthetics has been a practice for a long while within our society where once it was celebrated to spread beauty. Sterile and numbing environments have become the norm, especially within corporate environments who have access to the most resources to enact change. In a world where there is a mental health crises, it seems sabotage to people people in depressing environments that do not activate any kind of inspiration. Inspiration is a self-generating energy that inspires change. Creativity is an activation energy needed for creating change in the world. The job of the various artists within the world is to fill these empty voids within our lives with creation. Beauty and Love are the only two authentic trajectories in life. Everything else is just distortions of this trajectory.
AMBITIONS: Building sustainable creative enterprises has been a goal for decades, but growth has been limited due to resources. This is still the trajectory though: To build up prototypes of community sustained creative enterprises that shares potential creations, which then, when marketed right, can build a growing demand for such arts in ways that carry over into everyday life. In building demand and appeal that's spread into the general public, those struggling artists within various industries gain sustainable opportunities. The irony of neglecting aesthetic integrity due to lack of demand and struggling businesses economics is that the saturation of creativity is the very thing that will increase demand and visitation. It will also attract wealth from various sources that will allow it to be redistributed into the local communities.
To sum up the ambition: To build co-creation community enterprises gathered of various creative talents to help spread aesthetic revitalization to the public. And to generate employment for these struggling creatives in a way that fosters the fires of inspiration to spread rapidly.
